Cryptocurrency is a very current topic, mainly because of its volatility and the spectacular inflation of its value. What about the legislative framework and regulatory controls that, sooner or later, will fill the current legal void?

This event examines the legal, economic, social and creative aspects of cryptocurrency. It is intended for everyone who wants to deepen their knowledge of this rich and dense topic through a dynamic and stimulating discussion.

Our keynote speaker is a major figure at the intersection of law and new technologies, especially in the FinTech sector: Jillian Friedman. Ms. Friedman is currently Lead Blockchain at National Bank of Canada. Her mandate is to leverage blockchain technologies for the Bank and to work closely with the NA Ventures venture capital funds. This conference will be followed by a roundtable with: – Papy Bakayoko, portfolio manager at Cristallyne – Erwan Jonchères, articling lawyer at Laboratoire de cyberjustice – William Robinson, blockchain analyst and community director at Catallaxy – moderated by Jillian Friedman.
