11 Digital Activities at Festival Eurêka!
Playful science takes over Montréal’s Old Port allweekend near the MontréalScience Centre. Under the theme of play, the ninth
edition of
Festival Eurêka! offers more than one hundred free activities and invites the public to discover digital
creativity in
the scientific world. The festival
is
aimed at families, young people and all curious minds. Through workshops,
demonstrations
and interactive activities, visitors can explore science in a hands-on
way. Digital
tools, games, robotics, images and experimentation make complex ideas accessible and fun. The eleven digital
activities
selected by Printemps numérique
show how closely
science and creativity can be connected. They encourage participants to test,
build,
play and understand. Whether through programming, interactive installations or technological demonstrations, the public becomes active rather than simply watching. Festival
Eurêka! also
highlights the importance of sparking curiosity early. By combining play
with scientific discovery,
it helps young people imagine themselves as inventors, researchers
or creators. The event
confirms that digital culture is also a gateway to learning, experimentation and wonder.
