Allie X: 48 Hours on the Clock at Centre Phi
Tick-tock, tick-tock: the seconds arepassing,and you have until tomorrow toenter the universe of Allie X, the future pop star presenting the result of two weeks in residence at Centre Phi. The temporary exhibition 48h Allie X

opens with the idea that in mathematics, X represents
an unknown value. In Allie’s
world, X becomes an identity to be built, explored and shared. Centre Phi has given the artist a space where music, image, fashion and performance come together. The project is designed as an immersive pop environment rather

than a simple exhibition.
Visitors enter a staged world in which AllieX’s visual codes, songs and persona are revealedthrough installations and interactions. The project also extends online through a
dedicated boutique and website, allowing the 48-hour experience to
move beyond the walls of Centre Phi. In this way, the event plays with the relationship between pop culture, digital presence

and the creation of
a public identity. Allie X’s residency shows how an artist can use digital tools tobuild a universe around music. The result is playful, mysterious and carefully controlled, somewhere
between laboratory, launch
event and performative installation. It gives Montréal audiences a short window into the making of a pop
