artists who

experiment with sound, light, image and technology, but this year theear becomes the privileged point of entry. The program includes performances, installations and international guests whose works explore the physical and emotional power of sound. Some pieces are

immersive, others minimalist or noisy, but all invite audiences to experience digital art through listening as much as through sight. ELEKTRA also continues to

play a major role

within Printemps numérique. It connects Montréal audiences with creators from abroad and helps confirm the city’s position

and electronic arts. By putting sound in the spotlight, ELEKTRA 16 reminds us that digital creation is not only seen on screens. It is also heard, felt and experienced through the body.
