Looking Back at the 19th Edition of the EURÊKA! Festival: Printemps numérique Brings “Science in Motion” to Life
From June 5 to 7, the Printemps numérique team was delighted to host a Digital Café at the 19th edition of the EURÊKA! Festival, held at Parc Jean-Drapeau under the theme « Scientific Momentum. » The event invited visitors to discover how science and emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, are transforming the world of sports in meaningful and tangible ways.
A Resounding Success with Festivalgoers
This year’s edition was marked by exceptional enthusiasm. Over the course of the three-day event, our team had the pleasure of welcoming and engaging with nearly 1,000 participants through a variety of interactive activities. This impressive turnout reflects the growing interest among young people and families in exploring digital technologies through hands-on experiences.
A Digital Café Focused on Artificial Intelligence and Sports

Located in the Innovation Zone, our Digital Café proved to be a popular destination for visitors of all ages. Through a series of fun and interactive activities, our team introduced participants to the growing impact of artificial intelligence in the field of sports, making complex concepts accessible and engaging.
Festivalgoers had the opportunity to experience:
- AI-Powered Posture Analysis: A real-time activity where participants could assess the quality of their squats using AI-assisted motion recognition technology.
- Interactive AI Quiz: An engaging discussion exploring the current and future applications of artificial intelligence in sports, inspired by our AI & You educational program.
Doxy, the Star Robot Dog, Takes the Field

On June 5 and 6, our robotic companion Doxy, the robot dog, roamed the festival grounds, meeting families and curious visitors throughout the site. One of the event’s highlights was Doxy’s encounter with Azur, a canine athlete presented in collaboration with Sports Canins Attelés Québec. This unique interaction delighted festivalgoers while sparking conversations about the growing role of robotics and artificial intelligence in our everyday lives.
Mission Accomplished
Our participation in the EURÊKA! Festival perfectly reflects Printemps numérique’s mission to inspire the next generation by promoting digital literacy and raising awareness of tomorrow’s technologies.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who stopped by to meet our team, as well as to our dedicated staff whose enthusiasm and commitment made these three days such a success.
We look forward to seeing you again next year for another inspiring edition filled with discovery and innovation!
