About this event
The video game industry in Québec is only 16% women, and in France only 14%. Yet the latest figures show that more than 50% of players are women.
What opportunities exist for the industry? What are the challenges in attracting more women? What are the management and recruitment differences between Québec and France? Why do women choose the video game industry?
These are the questions our four panellists will address in a France-Québec exchange.
From Québec, we will welcome Gameloft’s Director of Human Resources, Betty Rodrigues, Ambre Lizurey, Director of Operations at EA’s Motive studio, and Brigitte Monneau, Executive Director of SYNTHÈSE, pôle image, and former Executive Director of Femmes du cinéma, de la télévision et des médias numériques. From France, we will speak with Anne Devouassoux who is Vice-President for Social Affairs at the SNJV and Executive Producer at Kylotonn studio.
