Dérapage 2018: large evening of projection
Info
A unique audiovisual exploration event, DÉRAPAGE annually invites people from a wide range of disciplines to create a non-narrative audiovisual production with sound that is under three minutes long.
Whether filmed in live action, animation or textures; in red, blue or green; in black and white or in colour; frantic or contemplative; thunderous or classical, the selected non-narrative works will be presented during the major DÉRAPAGE 18 screening evening in Montréal.
The audiovisual work must be original and non-narrative. It must include sound. The soundtrack must be an original production. It must last between 30 seconds and three minutes. All films must be submitted as QuickTime files (Prores422 or H264) on CD, DVD or online. The films must include credits with at least the film title and the name of the director or directors.
The organizers reserve the right to use the award-winning films free of charge as part of their activities, particularly for DÉRAPAGE compilation programs.
Film registration for the festival is free and entails no obligation for the organizers beyond the regulations, but it implies full acceptance of these regulations.
