For the 33rd event of the series “Salon: Data”, nous avons invité deux artists sélectionnés by appel of dossiers, to réaliser a mini-résidence a semaine in order of peaufiner a work qu’ils présenteront during a exposition public.

LAURA HIRSH I ALAN And ADA

« Alan et Ada » embody the domaines of prédilection that are: the use of the data, the surveillance, the abilities own to artificial intelligence as well that the référence at the genre within the technologies. Alan et Ada are en reality, deux ordinateurs that parlent, échangent, by the biais of the network wifi. 1. GOWDY I FORWARD FEED

« Forward Feed » is a ecosystem sound where the energy utilisée is redistribuée selon a système of équilibre appropriatement ajusté. This work itself concentre on the notions of transfert of energy between organization and space, en traquant by the feedback sound the différents seuils of niveau acoustique. Under a structure composée of microphones and of haut-parleurs, of the oscillateurs to fréquence variable are utilisés for nuancer the loupes of feedback sound. the impact on the interactivité of the environment is alors inévitable. the interconnectivité of this work électroacoustique is inspirée of the relations symbiotiques existant in the environment natural between espèces vivant of concert in the same ecosystem.

Performance – OPENING RECEPTION

This installation fera the objet a performance in-situ by Tim Gowdy and Adam Basanta at the cours of the evening of vernissage. The duo explorera the limits and propriétés acoustiques inhérents at the centre Eastern Bloc by the entremise of feedback audio.
