Under the theme AUTOMATA – Chante le corps électrique. The featured installations will raise current questions about the sociocultural implications of new relationships to the body in a world increasingly populated by artificial and adaptive agents. The 2018 BIAN opus will honour Germany by welcoming guest curator Peter Weibel, artist and director of the ZKM – Zentrum für kunst und medien Karlsruhe (Centre for Art and Media Karlsruhe). The 12th edition of MIAN will return on June 14 and 15. MIAN is ELEKTRA’s professional component.
