The death of radio will have to wait. Audio content production is gaining a new momentum thanks to the contribution of digital technology. The podcast marks the renaissance of the radio creation. Its many enthusiasts have contributed to artistic flourishing, en Europe and to the États-Unis, around this medium. It is therefore all the more surprising of see that the Québec is missing the trend.
For the final edition of Matinées numériques, Zoé Gagnon-Paquin, co-founder and Executive Director of Magnéto, will speak to us, en live of Aire Commune, about the importance of the radio creation for our culture.

About Zoé Gagnon-Paquin
Zoé Gagnon-Paquin is the co-founder and Executive Director ofMagnéto. Make en sorte that the about soit thoughtful and the listening attentive, create experiences that allow people to step outside their bubble and and enter someone else’s, it is the mission personal of Zoé within Magnéto.
Before devoting herself to Magnéto, she studied en philosophy to the Université McGill and worked as journalist, desk editor, animatrice radio, organizer and project manager en relations industrielles. It signe also several productions audio whose J’habite a city, Côte of the neiges of hier to today.
In 2008, she won the award J.H. MacDonald of the Canadian University Press for the best article French-language of the year and received by the subsequently several grants cultural, whose the one of the Lab cultural of Culture for all. She was a finalist 2018 at the award Arista – Young entrepreneur cultural, presented by the Board of arts of Montréal. She served of 2010 to 2012 at the Board général of the FTQ and is currently director elected at the Board of administration of Culture Montréal.
