Symposium iX 2021: Sound & Immersion
with the Ircam Forum

As innovations multiply in the field of sound immersion, the 2021 edition of Symposium iX will provide an opportunity to interactively explore the new creative perspectives offered by immersive audio technologies.

For this unusual edition, Symposium iX invites you to experience a new form of conference in a 3D virtual space: the Hub Satellite.

In this interactive environment, Metalab, SAT’s R&D lab, will present its projects and developments in sound immersion.

In the second part of the day, three immersive works and projects selected following an international call for participation will be presented in a walk-through experimentation mode in the virtual space.

This event is organized jointly with the Ircam Forum, in partnership with McGill University and with the support of the City of Montréal.
