Phishing is a type of online fraud that can take different forms that are sometimes hard to identify. Come learn how to identify fraudulent emails and fake websites.
This activity is jointly organized by the Beloeil municipal library and the AlphaNumérique project.
AlphaNumérique is a digital literacy project in public libraries and community organizations. The initiative aims to give citizens of Québec, newcomers and Francophone Canadians the opportunity to acquire fundamental skills for using digital tools.
AlphaNumérique is funded by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada through the Digital Literacy Exchange Program. It is developed by Bibliopresto in collaboration with Techno Culture Club and in partnership with the Association des bibliothèques publiques du Québec, the Réseau BIBLIO du Québec, and Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec.
