International Women’s Day Global Event Series

Women Techmakers is a program created by Google in order of highlight the talent of the women in the field of the computer science. In 2019, we are organizing the fourth edition to Montréal of the special event « The Women Techmakers Global Event Series Celebrating International Women’s Day ». This program takes place every year in 52 countries and has more of 200 events mondiaux. This initiative communautaire vise to promote the talent and the passion, to increase the visibilité of the community technological Montréal and to honorer and donner of the power to the women industrie technological.

Existe-t-il of the critères of identification or a limite of age minimum for participer to the event? Everyone the participants must be agés of 18 ans or more. Women Techmakers is a program created by Google to celebrates International Women’s Day by highlighting the talent of women in technology. In 2019, we’re organizing the fourth edition in Montréal as part of the special event “The Women Techmakers Global Event Series Celebrating International Women’s Day” (WTM IWD). This program a been running in over 200 global events and seen across 52 countries. This community-building initiative aims to promote talented and passionate women, to increase the visibility of the Montréal technology community and to honour and empower women in technology.

What does my ticket include?

Are men and other gender allowed to enter the event? Yes! We encourages them to come. Our event is inclusive and open to every gender. Are there ID requirements or a minimum age limit to enter the event? All participants must be 18+. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? The venue is near the Bonaventure metro station. There is an inside parking available at the venue for 16$/day or parking meters all around. If I have any questions, how can I contact the organizers? You can contact us at [email protected]. What’s the refund policy? We can refund your ticket until March 13th, 201, but you will lose the fees paid to Eventbrite.
