During of the event Women in TI of the Réseau Action TI the 7 June latter, Technocompétences a revealed the findings of the case study on The spot of the women in the industry of the TI in Québec. They have sparked reactions and have stimulated the reflection.

  • Finding # 1: The industries are relatively youth and present of the opportunities of advancement car they value the initiative and the innovation.
  • Finding # 2: The flexibility of the schedules allows the balance work-family, but she is sometimes offset by a culture of the performance
  • Finding # 3: The coaching and the mentorship are available to some, but no process formal n’encadre this practice.
  • Finding # 4: The climate of work is generally positive, (collaboration, commitment, development, respect) but of the difficulties arise sometimes with the clients.
  • Finding # 5: The training are encouraged, the development of career is valued, but they reMaynformal and to the initiative of the employees.
  • Finding # 6: The models female are limited and those that hold of the positions of decision-making are perceived as ayant a profile «masculine».
  • Finding # 7: The discourse public of inclusion of the women (and of the groups minority) not translated pas always in the practical organizational in spot.
