1,500 People Expected to Celebrate Printemps numérique
The moodwill be festive at thelaunch of the fourth edition of Printemps numérique (PN), during an evening held under the themeMontréal Fashion Tech. Until midnight on Thursday, March 30, the McCord Museum willbecome a creative laboratory. Futuristic fashion,mapping,3D scan stations, a virtual dress, connected clothing and objects, and immersive experiences are on theprogram. Visitors wearing PixMob smart bracelets will be able to enjoyinteractive experiences. This alliance between fashion andtechnology reflects the diversity and strength of Montréal’s digital ecosystem, said Suzanne Gouin, chair of thePrintemps numériqueboard.
Beyond
the hundreds of activitiesand partners involvedin PN, there is a real desire for
cooperation among sectors linked by a thirst for innovation
and
know-how. Montréal was recently named the world’s leading intelligent and digital city by the Intelligent Community Forum, and Printemps numérique naturally fits into that momentum. The launch evening
will
bring togethercreators, partners and the public around the many forms of digital creativity that make Montréal stand out. Printemps numérique

throughJune 21 across the city, with programming thatintroduces abroad audienceto works, installations, eventsand
