Digital Café at Complexe Desjardins: 360° Immersive Projections and Creative Workshops
From October 25 to November 1,as part of the MTL connecte artistic program, the public took part in a Digital
Café at Grande Place in Complexe Desjardins in the Quartier des spectacles. The free event offered
immersive
experiences combining projections and interactive workshops
- in Printemps numérique’s 360°
- mobile dome. More than 2,375 visitors
- entered the dome, along
- with around one hundred
young participants in digital
mediation workshops.
The program featured four immersive universesexploring skiesand cultures,childhood memories,human movementand imaginarylandscapes. Visitorsdiscovered worksby artistsfrom Québec andabroad and
took part in workshops on visuals and sound. Young
people transformed movement
into sound and images through GROOV workshops with MusicMotion, while the
- public explored collective interactivity through theEnsens projectpresented by Lab148. The Digital
