Four Days of Immersion at the SAT: IX 2015

For the Société des arts technologiques, immersion is not just a trend; the SAT has been exploringthis universe for twenty years. After the success of its first international symposium on immersive experiences, the SAT returns with a

second

edition of IX 2015, running until May 24. The program brings together artists, researchers, designers

domes, spatialized

sound and new forms of experience. Participants can attend presentations, performances and demonstrations that question the future of immersion. The Satosphère, with its 360-degree dome, is at the

heart of this research. It allows creators to test new

relationships between image, sound and the spectator’s body. Instead of watching a screen from the outside, the audience is placed inside the artwork. IX 2015 is therefore both a professional meeting and a public invitation to discover the latest developments
