The City Grants $500,000 for Montréal Digital Week and the #intersections Events
The executive committee has granted a maximum financialcontribution of $500,000 over two yearsto Printempsnumérique. This
support is intended to help deliver MTL connecte: Montréal Digital Week and the #intersections events in 2020 and 2021. The City of Montréal recognizes the importance of an event that includes a majorfocuson
thecity of the future and that contributes to Montréal’s
international profile. MTL connecte brings together digital transformation stakeholders, entrepreneurs, researchers, artists, institutions and the public around key issues in digital intelligence. The support also strengthens#intersections,a series of events
that createsdialogue between creativity, technology, society and business. Through this contribution, the City of Montréal is investing in an initiative that showcases local talent, encourages collaboration andsupports Montréal’s position as a leading digital
and
creative
metropolis.
