MIAJA 2025: When the Anishinabe Nation Brings Together Culture and Digital Innovation
On September3 and4, TimiskamingFirst Nationin Abitibi hosted thefifth edition of Miaja, a major gathering of the
Anishinabe Nation
organized by Minwashin. Printemps numérique was invited to present two activities focused ondigital culture, youth
and innovation.
The gatheringcreated a strong moment of sharing,recognition and transmission, bringing together communitymembers,
artists, knowledge
keepers and partners. Through its activities, Printemps numérique introduced

reflected on how technologies cansupport
living culture, identity
and expression.The
experience
highlighted the importance of designing
digital activities that respect community realities
and helpyouth explore tools inways thatare
meaningful, inclusiveand rootedin culture.
