Montréal, partner in the first season of Printemps numérique
This year, the metropolis will experienceits very first Printemps numérique. This initiative of the Conférence régionale des élus (CRÉ) de Montréal, in collaboration with some sixty organizations from creative fields or connected to digital arts, including the City of Montréal, brings together in one expanded program all activities related to digital arts taking place in Montréal from March 21 to June 21, 2014. The City is proud to be a partner in this first season, which will showcase the vitality of digital creativity and strengthen Montréal’s positionas a leading cultural metropolis. Through exhibitions, performances, conferences and participatory activities, the public will be invited to discover the many ways technology transforms artistic practices and urban experiences. Printemps numérique will also help build bridges among creators, organizations, institutions and citizens. By supporting the initiative, Montréal confirms the importance ofdigital
culture in itsidentity and in its internationaloutreach.
