theircollaboration through the 2020 editions of Nantes

Digital
Week and MTLconnecte. Initiated in 2019, the agreement between the two events aims to build
bridges betweenecosystems and to promote a humanist vision of digital technology. At a time when the
pandemic hasaccelerated digital uses, the collaboration highlights the need to thinkcritically about technology’s social, cultural, economic
and environmentalimpacts. Through conferences, conversations and shared initiatives, Nantes Digital Week and MTL connecte bring together professionals,
citizens, organizations and creators to imagine responsible digital futures. The partnership
also offers internationalvisibility to Montréal and Nantes stakeholders, while encouraging knowledge transferand
cross-sector encounters.
