Printemps numériquecontributes to preventing the digital divide among Indigenous

communities. Young people living in these communities are often

far

from major centres and have too few opportunities

to access digital

literacy

activities. Through the Jeunesse QC 2030projectand collaborations withIndigenous partners, Printempsnumérique supports workshops and

initiativesthat

introduce youth

to

coding, digital creativity and technology. These activities

  • develop logic, curiosity
  • and creativitywhile respectingthe importance of cultural transmission and

community realities. Workshops delivered with partners such as Le Wagon

and

FabLab Onaki show how digital technology can become a positive tool for

learning,

empowerment

and cultural expression. The project, supported by theSecrétariat à la jeunesse du

Québec

and presentedby Hydro-Québec,aims to create equal opportunity for young people aged13

to

29 by reducing

gaps

in

digital access, skills and

confidence.
