Printemps numérique: mission accomplished!
The very first Printemps numérique has just concluded in a burst of energy! Over three months, more than 100,000 people took part in the many activities presented by some sixty organizations. From March to June, Montréal vibrated to the rhythm of digital creativity through exhibitions, performances, conferences, workshops, concerts and immersive experiences. The initiative helped bring together the key players in digital arts and creativity, while introducing the general public to a rich and diverse program. This first edition confirmed Montréal’s role as a major hub for digital arts in North America. It also demonstrated the public’s appetite for innovative, participatory and accessibleexperiences. Printemps numérique would like to thank all the partners, organizations, artists, creators and participants who
contributed to the
success of this first season. The event has fulfilled its mission: to showcasethe vitality of Montréal’s digital ecosystem and create newconnections between culture, technology and citizens. The momentum generatedby this inaugural edition opens the door to future collaborations and to a stronger presence for digital creativity in the city.
