What Did We Learn at MTL connecte 2020?
MTL
connecte 2020
was a surprising edition in an unsettled year. The
event expanded internationally and presented
a Montréal
event of global calibre, with most of the program offered fully online. Building on
this momentum,
the next edition will take place from October 12 to
17,2021
in
a hybrid format, combining online contentwith
special
networking
and
business events for in-person participants holding a
limited
VIP
pass.
The 2020 edition produced many ideas worth remembering. Discussions explored technology as
a
superorganism,
the role of
women in tech, data governance and sovereignty,
beneficial
datafication,
the future of work
and learning, cybersecurity, remote care, blockchain, sustainability and virtual communication. Speakers and
panelists
examined
how digital
technology affects society, organizations, public policy, health, finance, education and
the
city
of the future.
MTL connecte invited audiences to discover leading research and innovation,
revisit
conferences
and panels on
demand, and use the lessons of 2020 to imagine a
more
responsible
and inclusive
