SOLSTICE17: The Night of Digital Creativity
SOLSTICE17 marks the night of digital creativity and the closing celebration of Printemps numérique. On June 21, the longest day of the year becomes an opportunity to gather artists, audiences and partners around
the energy of Montréal’s digital scene. Presented at the Société des arts technologiques, the evening brings together performances, music, installations, encounters and festive moments. It celebrates a season of discoveries that unfolded across the
city and highlighted the diversity of digital practices,
from immersive works and interactive
installations to
audiovisual performances and creative technologies. SOLSTICE17 is
also a
way to thank the public and the
many organizations
that contributed to
Printemps numérique.
By choosing the solstice, the
event emphasizes
light, transition and collective celebration.
It invites
everyone to experience digital culture not
as a distant specialty, but as a living, accessible and joyful
part of Montréal’s cultural
life. http://soundcloud.com/moonshinemu https://alaclairensemble.bandcamp.com/ https://soundcloud.com/mutek_montreal/ohm-hourani https://fr-ca.facebook.com/Musallica/ https://soundcloud.com/dj-abeillehttp://prism.quebec/
