Printemps numérique benefits from a privileged vantage point on Montréal’s creative know-how. This position revealed the importance of mapping the current ecosystem in order to measure its reach and, above all, clarify the conditions needed to ensure its full development.
The study, Understanding and promoting Montréal’s digital creativity ecosystem: a lever for local development and the metropolis’s international profile, was carried out by Eva Quintas, in spring 2016, with support from the Acceleration program of MITACS and professors Laurent Simon and Serge Poisson-de Haro (HEC Montréal). An artist and arts management consultant, Eva Quintas is co-founder and vice-president of the digital arts centre Agence TOPO.
